Hedgehog

The hedgehog: cutie-pie of the animal kingdom, a gentle face on a ball of harmless spikes. Harmless, unless you attack. In chess the pawns lie low and the pieces lurk behind them. A passive opening, until the overextended attacker learns the lesson: don't mess with the hog.

Part of BOOK OF CRAYONS by House of Stalemate: chess openings drawn in crayon, printed on the back.
